Included in every booking

  • A written scope. Services, hours, equipment and arrival time agreed in writing before the date is held.

  • Setup and sound check. We arrive ahead of guests, set up, and test the system before anyone walks in.

  • An operator on site. One of us stays with the equipment the whole time — not a laptop left running on a table.

  • Backup essentials. Spare cables, adapters and redundancy for the parts that most often fail.

  • A clean closeout. Full teardown and load-out, with the space left the way we found it.

Travel, extra hours, additional PA and media coverage are quoted separately based on your event. Ask and we will break the cost down line by line.

How it works

We talk before we plug in.

No confusing handoff and no surprises on the day. You will know who you are working with, what we are bringing and exactly what we are responsible for.

01

Tell us the plan

Share your date, location, event format, timing and the kind of support you think you need. A rough idea is enough to start.

02

We scope the room

We confirm sound, power, load-in, equipment and guest count, then send a clear written booking scope with the full cost.

03

You lock the date

A $100 deposit holds your date on our calendar. Until that is in, the date stays open to other inquiries.

04

We run the sound

We arrive early for setup and sound check, run the music and audio all night, handle anything technical that comes up, and close out professionally.

The people behind it

You'll know exactly who is showing up.

Malahkai and Ahaz do the same job. Both run decks, both run sound, and whichever of us you reach is the one who can answer your questions and show up on the night.

Before the date

Three things make the night run smoothly.

You run the event. We handle the entertainment — so the more you can tell us about these three, the better we can shape the sound around your plan.

01

Timing & flow

Send us guest arrival, the key moments you want marked and your hard end time. We will map music and setup around the pace of the night.

02

Music direction

A handful of must-plays, your do-not-plays and two or three examples of the energy you want are far more useful than a giant playlist.

03

Venue details

We will ask about load-in, power, room size, any existing sound system and who our on-site contact is — well before event day.

Good to know

Questions we hear a lot.

What kinds of events do you take on?
Private parties, weddings and receptions, community gatherings, venue nights, artist showcases and other live experiences across the Capital Region. If you are not sure whether your event is a fit, ask — we will tell you honestly.
Can you work with a venue's existing sound system?
Yes, when the system is compatible and we can coordinate the setup with your venue in advance. If it is not a good fit, we will say so and quote a complete PA setup instead.
How far do you travel?
We regularly serve Albany, Troy, Saratoga Springs, Schenectady, Red Hook and Coeymans. Reach out about anywhere nearby and we will talk through travel and what it adds to the quote.
What locks in my date?
Once we agree on the event scope, a $100 deposit confirms the booking and holds your date. DJ services carry a four-hour, $200 minimum. Until the deposit is received, the date remains available to other inquiries.
How far in advance should I book?
Earlier is better, especially for weekend dates in spring and summer. Four to eight weeks gives us comfortable time to scope the room properly, but reach out about short-notice dates — sometimes we can make them work.
What do you need from the venue on the day?
Access for load-in ahead of guest arrival, reliable power near the performance area, a defined space for the setup, and a named on-site contact who can answer questions. We confirm all of this in writing before event day.
What happens if plans change?
Tell us as early as you can. Timing and scope changes are usually straightforward to accommodate. Date changes and cancellations are handled case by case and the terms are spelled out in your written booking scope, so nothing is a surprise.
Do you plan or coordinate the event itself?
No — that stays with you or your planner. We are responsible for the entertainment and the audio: the music, the PA, the gear and the people running it. We will happily work to whatever timeline you set, but we are not managing vendors, guests or the run of show.
How do we pay?
A $100 deposit confirms the booking and the balance is due around the event as set out in your scope. Let us know what payment method works best for you and we will confirm what we can accept.
